CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT
ROCKY MTN. DISTRICT U.S.
POSTAL SERVICE

CABLE TV UPDATE

ENCLAVE ANNEXATION REPORT

REGAL SQUARE REPORT

Minutes - page 5
October 16, 1979

Mr. Wurl read a letter from them stating
that they would like to build a new post
office, however, they would like to stay
in the downtown area or within ~ mile
from the existing facility.
Mr. Rupp reported that he has sent a letter
to Mr. Smythe, regarding this and plan to
meet with him in the near future to dis-
cuss their plans.
Council stated that they would like to see
the post office stay in the same area.

Mr. Wurl reported that he has visited with
the attorney's and they are developing an
ordinance for Council's consideration.
He stated that he has also met with the
TV companies and felt that Council should
meet with the two companies for discussion.

It was recommended that a work session be
scheduled to discuss the companies.

A copy of the enclave report was included
in the packet, and Mr. Wurl noted that
3 parcels, under state statutes are within
the time limit to be annexed, however, he
felt it best to contact the property owners
for a possible annexation rather then
forcing them.
He did note that some of the property
owners have already been in contact with
the City regarding annexation.

Mr. Wurl reported that Mr. Rupp had talked
with Bob Francis.
Mr. Rupp stated that they informed him that
the City requested a written response from
Roach, regarding the punch list.

Mr. Rupp stated that Steve Ferris, building
inspect.or, has an appointment with Mr.
Francis to discuss the punch list.

Mr. Wurl reported that Curt Rautenstraus,
Mr. Rupp, Mr. Ferris, Mr. Hinsberger and
he went to Regal Square and talked with
the tenants about the problems and in-
spected the apartments. He noted that
most people were happy with their units
and the repairs that have been done; how-
ever, they did feel there was a drainage
problem with two drains.
Staff stated they would continue to follow
up on the repairs.
