' <br />Councilman Berry moved that Ernie Marinelli <br />be appointed to the Variance Board. <br />Seconded by Cotmcilman DiCarlo. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss s:tated that all documents <br />submitted were in proper order; however, <br />he recommended tabling any action until <br />the letters of character reference were <br />submitted for review. <br />Mr. Joe Turner requested that the transfer <br />be granted upon receiving the letters. <br /> <br />Council noted that the next meeting was <br />July ,J., and the:re was not that much time <br />involved in tabling the matter. <br />After comments Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that Waldo's liquor license transfer re- <br />quest be tabled until the meeting of <br />July 2, 1979. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Jeanette Wallace, representing Natural <br />Prairies, Inc. stated that they would like <br />to work with the City to construct a <br />Educational Nature Park. She stated that <br />they would move the animals and rebuild <br />their villages with signs and diagrams <br />explaining their existance. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier stated that he would like <br />more information on the proposal. <br />Councilman Berry recommended that Ms. Wallace <br />and David Stahl discuss the proposal. <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that he thought <br />the development was north of the prairie <br />dogs site. <br /> <br />Mr. Metz requested that Council review <br />other alternatives for extending Pine St. <br />as the present plans take part of his pro- <br />perty and a proposed intersection is <br />marked very close to his home. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 642 and <br />Ordinance No. 643 on second reading by <br />title only, He stated that the ordinance <br />were published in entirety on May 17, 1979 <br />and notices of public hearings w'ere pub..,. <br />lished on May 2,4, and May '31, 1979. <br />
