He stated that the <br />discussion on COG will be held again at <br />the next meeting and Councilman Meier <br />wants a note as to the City's desires. <br />Council concurred that they wanted to <br />continue on with DRCOG and not establish <br />a Boulder C01mty COG. <br /> <br />WATER RUNOFF <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that Steve <br />Harney was upset with the excessive water <br />that collected in his field. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City was not re- <br />sponsible for the water that came through <br />as the ditch broke and that was where <br />the excessive water came from. He pointed <br />out that the City was not responsible for <br />the ditch breaking. <br /> <br />WEEDS NORTH OF VILLAGE <br />SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he was <br />telephoned by Alan Scarpella about the <br />weeds behind his fence. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the matter would <br />be turned over to the Parks Dept. <br />Mr. Stahl stated that one of the pro- <br />blems was that a tractor has not come <br />in and this is partly the delay. <br />Mr. Stahl stated that a person should <br />not poison the weeds in the green belt, <br />as they may use a chemical that is out- <br />dated and the poison could get into the <br />ditch which would cause problems. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that Mrs. <br />Jensen telephoned him about the doors <br />on the units being approximately 2" short. <br />Mr. Anderson was in attendance and stated <br />that the screen door is the door that is <br />short and a metal strip is now being made <br />to remedy the problem. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked that the Code <br />Enforcement officer start making rounds <br />and contact some property owners about <br />their junk and weeds. <br /> <br />DOORS AT ELDERLY HOUSING <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />WEEDS <br />
