CONT'D <br />1613 SUNSET DR. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci stated that if one re- <br />quest is approved, he felt they all should <br />be allowed and a license be issued to <br />all of them. <br />Councilman DelPizzo suggested that all <br />persons who have constructed their fences <br />on City property be issued the license <br />and from this date, no other fences be <br />allowed on City easements. <br />Councilman Meier stated that he did not <br />feel the license should be issued. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller stated that other fences in <br />his neighborhood are on the sidewalk and <br />he thought maybe he could realign some of <br />the posts back so they would be only <br />about 6 inches into the City right-of-way. <br /> <br />After discussion Councilman Berry moved <br />that Mr. Miller's application for a license <br />to erect a fence in the utility easement <br />be denied. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />Roll call. DiCarlo no, Berry yes, Meier <br />yes, DelPizzo no, Kilker yes, Caranci <br />yes. Motion carried to deny the request. <br /> <br />DON CHANCE FENCE <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />Mr. Chance stated that he has constructed <br />a split rail fence in the front of his <br />home which is on a cul-de-sac on a non- <br />through street, with a 33" set back. <br />He stated that it was a landscape technique. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that if Council so <br />chose, to allow the fence to remain a <br />license should be issued. <br /> <br />After discussion Councilman Kilker moved <br />that the Don Chance fence request be <br />denied. Seconded by Councilman Caranci. <br />Roll call. DelPizzo no, DiCarlo no, <br />Berry yes, Kilker yes, Caranci yes, <br />Meier yes. Motion carried to deny the <br />fence request. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that all licenses <br />for fences which have ,been issued by the <br />City be revoked and inform the residents <br />involved that the fences have to be re- <br />moved from the right-of-ways and in the <br />future that all fences of that nature <br />will not be issued a permit. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. DiCarlo <br />yes, Berry no, DelPizzo yes, Kilker no, <br />Caranci no, Mei.er no. Motion defeated. <br />
