RECREATION CENTER CONTINUED SENIOR CITIZEN TRk~SPORTATION PLAN ROGER JOSEPH ANNEXATION REQUEST COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS BUDGET Minutes - page 5 April l~, 1979 After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved that Phase II be authorized at the (;lest of $9,000. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. DelPizzo yes, Meier no, Caranci yes, Kilker yes, DiCarlo yes, Berry yes. Motion carried. Parks & Rec. Director Stahl explained the proposal to City Council stating that the organization in Boulder is a nonprofit organization involved in transportation ser- vices to senior citizens and handicapped within the County. He stated that they proposed to begin in May to make one trip a week to Louisville. Mr. Stahl noted that the nonprofit or- ganization is requesting that the City sign a contract with them and also that the City will not apply for any grants for transportation facilities. AFter discussion Council felt that it would be wise to send the letter of intent for a possible grant from DRCOG. After discussion Councilman Meier moved that a letter of intent for the grant be sent to DRCOG. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. Councilman Berry moved that the annexation request for Roger Joseph be referred to the Planning Commission. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City Administrators report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion carried. Councilman Meier stated that it was brought to his attention that all figures within the City budget were not readily accessible. Mr. Wurl stated that the guidelines imposed by the State has caused a more complicated procedure of setting up the budget and thereby understanding it.
