<br />RECREATION CENTER <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />SENIOR CITIZEN TRk~SPORTATION <br />PLAN <br /> <br />ROGER JOSEPH <br />ANNEXATION REQUEST <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS <br />BUDGET <br /> <br />Minutes - page 5 <br />April l~, 1979 <br /> <br />After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that Phase II be authorized at the <br />(;lest of $9,000. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. <br />DelPizzo yes, Meier no, Caranci yes, <br />Kilker yes, DiCarlo yes, Berry yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Parks & Rec. Director Stahl explained <br />the proposal to City Council stating that <br />the organization in Boulder is a nonprofit <br />organization involved in transportation ser- <br />vices to senior citizens and handicapped <br />within the County. He stated that they <br />proposed to begin in May to make one <br />trip a week to Louisville. <br />Mr. Stahl noted that the nonprofit or- <br />ganization is requesting that the City <br />sign a contract with them and also that <br />the City will not apply for any grants <br />for transportation facilities. <br />AFter discussion Council felt that it would <br />be wise to send the letter of intent for <br />a possible grant from DRCOG. <br /> <br />After discussion Councilman Meier moved <br />that a letter of intent for the grant be <br />sent to DRCOG. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Berry moved that the annexation <br />request for Roger Joseph be referred to <br />the Planning Commission. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />Meier. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier stated that it was <br />brought to his attention that all figures <br />within the City budget were not readily <br />accessible. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the guidelines imposed <br />by the State has caused a more complicated <br />procedure of setting up the budget and thereby <br />understanding it. <br />
