<br />- <br />I <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />MARCH 20, 1979 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the <br />following Council members present: DiCarlo, Berry, Meier, Caranci, <br />Kilker, and DelPizzo. Others Present: City Administrator Wurl, City <br />Attorney Joss, City Planner Drumm, Parks & Rec. Director Stahl, and <br />City Clerk Stahl. Absent: City Treasurer Hesson. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes of the March 6, 1979, Council <br />meeting as presented. <br /> <br />ENCLOSURERS <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that enclosurers <br />be accepted and brought up under the pro- <br />per head of business. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />DANA KEPNER PAY EST. #1 <br />METER MATERIALS <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that pay estimate <br />#1 in the amount of $9,864.54, be approved <br />and a check issued to Dana Kepner. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. <br />DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, Berry yes, <br />Meier yes, DiCarlo yes, Kilker yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />MOUNTAIN STATES SUPPLY <br />PAY EST. #1 METERS <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Mountain <br />States Supply Co. pay estimate #1 in the <br />amount of $24,375,82 be approved. Se- <br />conded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. <br />Kilker yes, Meier yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, Caranci yes, Berry eys. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />REFERENDUM DECISION <br /> <br />Councilman Kilker stated that based on the <br />information, presentations and requests of <br />the group which has presented the Referendum <br />Petitions; considering the letters and <br />information from groups favoring this <br />project; considering the legal opinion <br />given by the City Attorney; and considering <br />the provisions of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code, it was his opinion that an election <br />on this Ordinance would not be in the best <br />interests of the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />Coucilman Kilker moved that the request to <br />submit Ordinance No. 637 to a Referendum <br />vote be denied. Seconded by Councilman <br />DelPizzo. Roll call vote. Meier yes, <br />Kilker yes, Berry yes, Caranci yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. <br />
