<br />ORDINANCE NO. 637 & 638 <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />FOR <br /> <br />Minutes - page 4 <br />March 20, 1979 <br /> <br />Lee Palson Regal St. <br /> <br />1. Was in favor of the annexation and <br />shopping center. <br /> <br />Donald Cummings 306 Matchless St. <br /> <br />1. Spoke on needed facilities. <br /> <br />2. Urged Council approval. <br /> <br />Joe Carnival 836 Main St. <br /> <br />1. Represented 88 senior citizens who <br />pledged their support on the Centennial <br />Valley Mall and developement. <br /> <br />2. Main concern included the needed <br />medical facilities. <br /> <br />3. Felt sales revenues should be kept <br />inside the City. <br /> <br />Sandra Brown 1315 Jefferson Ave. <br /> <br />1. Felt developers are entitled to be <br />from out of state and still be allowed to <br />develope lands and benefit within the City <br />of Louisville <br /> <br />2. Stated City needs of medical facilities <br />recreational outlets and shopping facilities. <br /> <br />Tom Benson 108 Rose St. <br /> <br />1. Speaking on behalf of Tax Relief Is <br />Possible Group. He stated that they were <br />in favor of the annexation and rezoning. <br /> <br />2. Felt that control and organized growth <br />can support itself. <br /> <br />3. Did not feel the City should enter <br />into any agreement with the County or City <br />of Boulder as we can not see what will be <br />the needs 50 years from now. <br /> <br />Martin Dugan 255 Regal St. #15 <br />1. Stated he was in favor of the annexation. <br />
