This is great
asking questions but I don't want either party to
get carried away.

Joss: Mr. Drumm I only have a couple of questions.
Do you recall at anytime in you discussions with
the developers or with owners of this property, the
applicants here tonight anytime making any promises
that upon annexation this property would be rezoned
by the City to allow whatever kind of development
that they saw fit?

Drumm: Definitely not.

Joss: Do you recall any remarks or promises of
that type being made by any members of the City
staff to the property owners?

Drumm: No, I do not.

Joss: Do you feel that in your conversations with
the property owners that you made a fair attempt to
explain to them what the situation of the property
was relative to the existing comprehensive plan at
that time.

Drumm: Yes, I do.

Joss: Do you think that they understood what the
situation was?

Drumm: I can't answer that.

Joss: I have no further questions.

Mayor: Okay, we will continue with the public hearing.
Are there any further staff remarks.
