ORDINANCE NO. 623
PUBLIC HEARING
CONTINUED

January 16, 1979
Minutes - page 25

Drumm: to the east.

Porter: What was the zoning for that additional
land that was annexed to the east.

Drumm: Part of it I believe is industrial part of
it is agricultural.

Porter: Could you tell me that part which is zoned
industrial now, what the comprehensive plan shows it
as.

Drumm: Well generally speaking, the present site was
zoned industrial and I couldn't be specific where the
agricultural zone, it breaks right about here.

Porter: In other words the comprehensive plan shows
that as open space land. In fact that arrow that's
right next to that property talks about that's land
to be conserved for open space, right?
In fact your statement a few moments ago asking any-
one to defy you to show where the comprehensive plan
has been violated. That statement was inaccurate.

Drumm: The comprehensive plan notes that as an
existing development. In our discussions with the
County on their plan adoption and soforth, the
treatment of existing development and Storage Tech
did exist at that time, was to be different; even
in our agreements then land annexed to the City
subsequent, but this was annexed I agree, but this
was an existing development.

Porter: Mr. Drumm, that arrow I think is attached
to certain words that says this is going to be
preserved for open space through joint efforts
through joint efforts of the County and the City
of Louisville. Isn't that basically what it says.

Drumm: Yes.

Porter: In fact, right where that arrow is is part
of the land that was zoned industrial upon annex-
ation.

Drumm: That is land that was being built upon, this
plan was adopted in 1975.

Porter: Could you just answer my question.
