<br />Minutes - page 2 <br />December 19,1978 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK RESIGNATION <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read City Clerk Stahl's re- <br />signation. <br />After discussion Councilman Caranci moved <br />that the City Clerks resignation be denied. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Drumm briefed Council on the <br />grant proceedings. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />There were no comments. <br />Council comments: Councilman DiCarlo <br />asked why the administrative portion was <br />lowered. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that since Community <br />Development has been brought under the <br />City, the need for administrative fees <br />was not as great. <br />There were no other comments, Mayor Waschak <br />closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the Community <br />Development Block grant recomnendation be accepted, <br />the Mayor be authorized to sign the <br />necessary papers. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll <br />call. DelPizzo yes, Berry yes, Meier <br />yes, Kilker yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />VACANCY <br /> <br />It was noted that two letters had been sub- <br />mitted to fill the previous vacancy on the <br />Commission and staff asked for Council's <br />recommendation as to readvertising the re- <br />cent vacancy, or considering the two letters. <br />After discussion Councilman Berry moved <br />that the Planning Commission vacancy be <br />advertised. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 627 <br />MOUNTAIN &~NEXATION <br />FIRST READING <br /> <br />All members of Council had a copy of the <br />ordinance for their review and files. <br />Attorney Joss read the ordinance on first <br />reading by title only. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance <br />No. 627 be ordered published. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. Motion carried. <br />
