The motion was seconded by
Councilmember Most. Motion passed.
V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: Mike Kranzdorf, downtown
commercial property owner, requested that the EVC continue providing virtual
options for its meetings. Chair Dickinson agreed that a virtual option is helpful
but cautioned against virtual meetings where there are not at least two
members of the EVC attending in -person. He reasoned that unexpected
technical difficulties could prevent the EVC from having a quorum. City
Manager Durbin agreed with the suggestion of requiring an in -person quorum
and emphasized the importance or providing a virtual option for continued
public accessibility.
VI. Discussion/Direction- Strategic Plan Action #2-6: 2022 Business Forum:
Specialist Brown gave an update on the Business Forum planned for Thursday
October 27, 2022 at Ascent Church.
Councilmember Most asked what the objectives are and how does the EVC
define a successful event. Chair Dickinson mentioned that the number of
attendees would be a good measure of a successful event but asked for
feedback regarding other indicators. Commissioner Fahey responded that
supporting and informing businesses should be the main outcome of the Forum.
City Manager's Office
303.335.4533 (phone)
City of Louisville
749 Main Street
303.335.4550 (fax)
Louisville CO 80027
www.LouisvilleCO.gov
Agenda Packet P. 3
