Linden St. from Kennedy Ave to Taft Ct. with Replacement of 1600' waterline <br />(Alternate 1) W. Linden St. from Taft Ct to Washington Ave with Replacement of 400' of waterline <br />(Alternate 2) Water Treatment Plant. Connect water recycle and backwash waterline at Sid <br />Copeland Water Treatment Plant <br />(Alternate 3) Valve Replacements. Replace 5 water valves throughout the City. <br />2022205 Goodland Construction 104th Street Trail Connection Project $1,514,763.75 <br />The construction award is for Phase 1 construction of the Trail. Phase 1 will construct the <br />trail from the northern connection at the Coal Creek Trail to approximately 1,500' north of <br />the Stearns Lake Trailhead located on 104th Street at the Rock Creek Trail. The first IGA <br />amendment agreed to split the project into two phases due to the increasing project costs. <br />Phase 2 is the last 1,500' to connect to Stearns Lake Trailhead. Phase 2 of the project has <br />costly Right -of -Way and wetland/environmental constraints that weren't originally anticipated. <br />Phase 2 design is currently budgeted within the First Amendment to the IGA. However, <br />Boulder County has expressed the potential for paving 104th Street south of Dillon Rd. If the <br />County decides to move forward with the paving project, this would potentially be a significant <br />benefit to Phase 2 of the trail project. <br />2022206 Rocksol Consulting Group Inc. 104th Street Trail Connection - Consulting Services $204,597.34 <br />Construction Management of the 104th St. Trail Connection Project <br />Staff is recommending City Council authorize staff award a contract for the construction of a <br />screening fence for the property owner of Groundwork Ranch Equine property located at <br />104333 Dillon Rd. As part of negotiations with neighbors to support this project, it was agreed <br />the project will provide a visual barrier between the trail and the property due to the <br />sensitive nature of the equine assisted programs managed by the property. The new fence <br />will have a vertical wood picket fence that is 6' high with a 4.5' sections every 25' to provide <br />view corridor for the property. <br />2022208 Colorado Christmas Lights Christmas Lights display and decorations for Downtown and City buildings $66,503.00 <br />2022209 Marquez Fencing Community Park - Dog Park Fence Installation $47,439.00 <br />Now that the dogs are no longer using the pond, staff plans to reopen the area by removing <br />the fence around the pond. Irrigation and sod will be installed around the irrigation pond, <br />a crusher fine trail, an additional bench and large rocks for seating. The existing fence around <br />the dog park is warped and requires replacement, so the fencing will be replaced. The <br />existing dog park itself will be reinvigorated to increase overall quality, improve maintenance <br />and present a visual and enjoyable passive use area for the public. These improvements are <br />supported by the Parks and Public Landscaping Advisory Board. <br />2022210 Via Mobility Services Via Transportation for Senior Meals $38,535.00 <br />For 2022 <br />
