Discussion/Direction- Economic Vitality Strategic Plan: <br />Specialist Brown gave an overview on the Economic Vitality Strategic Plan and <br />the 3rd Quarter update that went to City Council on October 18. There were no <br />comments. <br />10. Staff Updates: Specialist Brown announced that Pearl Izumi (101 S Taylor <br />Ave) is closing its Louisville location. The Louisville Revitalization Commission <br />(LRC) approved two Fagade Improvement Program requests from Scherer <br />Violin Shop (844 Main Street, Unit 103) and Dewlap Properties (700 Front <br />Street) at its October 12 meeting. The LRC reviewed and approved the 2023 <br />Urban Revitalization District (URD) budget during its October 12 meeting. The <br />budget will go to City Council for approval on November 1. <br />Specialist Brown added that there is not a significant update on Creative <br />Framing but it is still anticipated that their lease will be ending in May 2023. <br />Councilmember Most asked whether there was any update regarding <br />Walgreens. Specialist Brown responded that he did not have any news. <br />Specialist Brown asked for feedback regarding the November 18 EVC agenda. <br />The EVC requested a summary of the Business Forum. Specialist Brown <br />confirmed that the sustainability incentives discussion will also be returning to <br />the EVC in November. <br />Public Comment from Mike Kranzdorf: Mr. Kranzdorf requested that the EVC <br />discuss banning gas stations in Louisville. Councilmember Dickinson agreed <br />that would be a good item for discussion. <br />11. Recent Articles: No comments. <br />12.
