Roll Call <br />Board Members Present: Sam Becker, Stella Corzine, Chelsea Dietz, Bella Ferguson, <br />Soren Firestine, Nate Hart, Frankie Kramer, Max Morone (via Zoom), Lily Oberg, Caitlin <br />Peterson, Violet Triesch, Sena Williams <br />Board Members Absent: Raymond Catlos, Brynn Jackson, Arihant Swain, Hazel <br />VanZale <br />Staff Members Present: Mandy Perera, Jessica Schwartz <br />III. Approval of Agenda —The agenda was approved by all members <br />IV. Approval of Minutes - The minutes from the November 3, 2022 meeting were approved <br />as written <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda — City Council member Deb Fahey <br />stopped by to thank YAB members for their time and effort, and encouraged everyone to <br />continue serving on City boards. <br />VI. Annual Project — Mandy began with a discussion of what YAB can and can't <br />accomplished, based on our role as a government entity, and tied this back to some of the <br />ideas we brainstormed in October. For example, we cannot change anything happening in <br />schools (that's BVSD's role), and we can't do anything involving businesses or starting a <br />business (private sector) such as starting a cat cafe. Bus shelters, one of our top ideas, are <br />controlled by RTD. They'd need to get City permits to build shelters, but the City cannot tell <br />them to build more at certain locations. YAB could write letters encouraging this, but that is the <br />Persons planning to attend the meeting who need sign language interpretation, translation services, assisted listening systems, Braille, taped <br />material, or special transportation, should contact the City Clerk's Office at 303 335-4536 or MeredythM@LouisvilleCO.gov.
