Helena <br />will get gift cards this year. We have 25 staff. Sharon will give the exact number to Helena. <br />Each board member will contribute $50. <br />Little Free Libraries <br />Memory Square little library needs to be relocated. The Library foundation may not be ready to <br />entertain an ask for funding to move the library so we will hold off for now. <br />Louisville Library Foundation Report <br />The Library Foundation members are meeting monthly now. They have created some small <br />groups for workgroups. They are electing new officers and creating new positions. <br />Volunteer needs <br />Volunteers are needed to help set up for the First Friday event on December 2, 2022. <br />Volunteers can help set up at 4. The event is from 5pm to 7pm. Volunteers can also help hand <br />out cookies and hot cider. Anyone who wants to come to help is welcome. Erin will email the <br />board an invitation. <br />Erin will also send a calendar of events for volunteering next year. <br />City Council work plan <br />City Council has asked boards and commissions to bring forward items for the city council work <br />plan. Sharon proposed that the library go completely fine free which aligns with the Equity, <br />Diversity and Inclusion portion of the work plan. Currently most libraries in the consortium are <br />fine free. The Louisville Library is fine free for youth items. The library has been fine for the last <br />two years because of COVID and the Marshall fire. Fines are due to be reinstated in January, <br />2023. In the last regular year, $12,000 in fine revenue was collected. Long overdue items that <br />
