Call to Order: Chair Dickinson, called the meeting to order at 1:32 PM. <br />2. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: Chair <br />Dickinson, Councilmember Fahey, and Councilmember Most. Also present <br />were Economic Vitality Specialist Austin Brown, Community Development <br />Director Rob Zuccaro, and City Manager Jeff Durbin. Three members of the <br />public were present. <br />3. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Most. <br />Motion passed. <br />4. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of November 18, 2022. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilmember Most. Motion passed. <br />5. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: Eric Lund introduced himself <br />as the new Executive Director of the Louisville Chamber of Commerce. Mr. <br />Lund commented that there seems to be some misinformation within the <br />business community about how the new commercial energy code will impact <br />Louisville businesses. He stated that the Chamber would like to help <br />communicate the energy code changes to Louisville businesses. He also <br />suggested that the City align its commercial energy code with the rest of the <br />cohort. <br />Chair Dickinson responded that he is aware of the disconnect and uncertainty <br />regarding the code, and that he has had many conversations with business <br />owners about the impact that any code changes would have on their business. <br />Councilmember Most commented that the City has made an effort to <br />communicate the code to the business community, including delaying the <br />reading of the ordinance.
