<br />RESCHEDULED MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JUNE 27, 1978 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M. with the fOllowing Council <br />members present: Dilorenzo, Meier, Caranci, Kilker. Council DelPizzo arrived at <br />7:55 P.M. Councilman DiCarlo absent. Others present were Administrator Wurl, Attorney <br />Joss, and Deputy Clerk Mudrock. Director of Community Development Drumm arrived after <br />attending the Louisville Urban Renewal meeting, Engineer Jicinsky was present for the <br />latter part of the meeting. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />ENCLOSURES <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />CANDlElIGHTERS SOCIETY - SPECIAL <br />EVENTS lIQUOR lICENSE. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />JAYCEES-SPECIAL EVENTS lIQUOR <br />lICENSE - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the June 6, <br />1978 minutes as presented. <br /> <br />Councilman Dilorenzo moved that the enclosurers <br />~e brcu~ht UD under the proper head of business. <br />Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. There <br />was no one in the audience that wished to support <br />or oppose the application. Attorney advised that <br />the application was in order and the property pro- <br />perly posted. Councilman Caranci moved that the <br />Candlelighters Society, Special Events liquor license <br />be approved. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Roll <br />Call vote: Meier yes, Caranci yes, Dilorenzo yes, <br />Kilker yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. There <br />was no one in the audience that wished to support <br />or oppose the application. Attorney Joss advised <br />that the application was in order and the property <br />properly posted. Councilman Meier inquired if the <br />usual procedure was to run the operation until mid- <br />night. Attorney Joss advised that this special <br />events license was in conjunction with the July 4th <br />1978 Centennial celebration and could run until <br />midnight. Councilman Dilorenzo remarked that the <br />Jaycees had left quite a lot of debris and trash <br />from the Fall Festival and was concerned that this <br />might reoccur. Administrator Wurl was instructed <br />to notify the Jaycees to be certain their area is <br />clean before they leave. Councilman Dilorenzo <br />moved that the Jaycees Special Events liquor license <br />be approved. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Roll <br />Call vote - Kilker yes, Caranci yes, Meier yes, <br />Dilorenzo yes. Motion carried. <br />
