<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JUNE 6, 1978 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the follow- <br />ing Council members present: DiCarlo, DiLorenzo, Meier, DelPizzo. <br />Councilmen Caranci and Kilker absent. Others present City Administrator <br />Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Treasurer Hesson, Community Development <br />Director Drumm and Deputy Clerk Cleo Mudrock. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />ENCLOSURES <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />MAYOR PROCLAMATION <br />LEUKEMIA DAY <br /> <br />CANDLELIGHTERS SOCIETY <br />LIQUOR LICENSE SPECIAL <br />EVENTS <br /> <br />GP~EN ANNEXATION REQUEST <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes of May 16, 1978, meeting as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that enclosurers <br />be accepted and brought up under the proper <br />head of business. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiLorenzo. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl read the Leukemia <br />Day Proclamation proclaming July 9, 1978 <br />to be Fight Leukemia Day. Mr. & Mrs. Kirk <br />accepted the proclamation and expressed <br />their appreciation. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that a public <br />hearing be set for the Candlelighters <br />Society - special events liquor license <br />on June 27, 1978. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiLorenzo. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl stated that Mr. <br />Green had intended to be at the meeting, <br />but due to other commitments was unable <br />to attend. Mr. Wurl then brought Council's <br />attention to the map enclosed depicting <br />the portion to be annexed - on Johnson St. <br />immediately west of the present City limits <br />and north of Bella Vista. <br />Councilman DiCarlo inquired how many acres <br />were involved. Administrator Wurl stated <br />approximately one and one-half. Mayor <br />Waschak asked if the other residences on <br />Johnson Street in the surrounding area <br />would be included in the request for annex- <br />ation. Administrator Wurl replied, they <br />were not included. Director Dennis Drumm <br />stated that Mr. Russ Green intended to talk <br />with the neighbors to see if they wished to <br />be annexed at this time. Councilman <br />DiLorenzo moved the Green Annexation request <br />
