<br />Minutes - page 3 <br />May 2, 1978 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #586 <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Mr. David Wyatt, property owner stated <br />that he would like to have the area on <br />the east side of Main St. north of <br />Lafayette St. rezoned from R-M to <br />C-N. <br />Mrs. Nadine Lybarger also spoke in favor <br />of the rezoning north of Lafayette St. <br /> <br />Mr. Ray Caranci spoke in favor of the <br />ordinance regarding the property on <br />Front Street, the old mill. <br /> <br />Under staff comments, Mr. Drumm stated that <br />the reason that the rezoning was voted <br />down on the area North of Lafayette St, <br />East side of Main was because more people <br />spoke against it then for it. <br />Councilman DelPizzo voiced his support <br />on the rezoning of the property on Main St. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci stated that he did not <br />like the idea of rezoning and did not feel <br />it should be allowed with a school in that <br />area. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak closed the public hearing and <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance <br />#586 be adopted with the inclusion of <br />the property between Lafayette St. and <br />South Boulder Road, East side of ~1ain St., <br />zoning it C-N as recommended by staff. <br />Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />Roll call. Caranci no, Dilorenzo no, <br />Kilker yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />Meier yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #587 <br />SECOND READING <br />WATER TAP INCREASE <br />SEWER TAP INCREASE <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that the ordinance was <br />properly published and does not require a <br />public hearing. He then read the ordinance <br />on second reading by title only. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance <br />#587 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br />Kilker. Roll call vote. DiCarlo no, <br />DelPizzo yes, Meier yes, Caranci yes, Kilker <br />yes, Dilorenzo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #588 <br />BARBED WIRE FENCES <br />SECOND READING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that the ordinance was <br />properly published and does not require a <br />public hearing. He then read the ordinance <br />on second reading by title only. <br />
