<br />April 4, 1978 <br />Minutes - page 3 <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />FIRE DISTRICT REPORT <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported on the fire district <br />progress. He stated that the petition has <br />been filed with the district court and that <br />there were going to be some delays. <br /> <br />CENTAUR VILLAGE <br />REQUEST ON DITCH <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that Centaur Village <br />representatives are requesting that the City <br />pay $2,000 which will be a portion to re- <br />locate the sewer ditch along with piping it <br />and a manhole cover. He stated that the City <br />would also receive an easement of record. <br />Councilman Kilker moved that the City agree <br />to pay the $2,000 to cover the City's portion <br />of the agreement for the work and materials. <br />Seconded by Councilman Meier. Roll call. <br />DelPizzo yes, Meier yes, Kilker yes, DiLorenzoyes, <br />DiCarlo yes, Caranci yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #585 <br />ZONING AMENDMENTS <br />FIRST READING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss presented ordinance #585 on <br />first reading by title only. All members of <br />Council had before them a copy of the ord- <br />inance for their file and review. Attorney <br />Joss stated that in the ordinance is the <br />matter of oil and gas exploration regula- <br />tions along with changes in the sign regula- <br />tions and some other matters. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance #585 <br />be ordered published and a public hearing be <br />set for May 2, 1978. Seconded by Councilman <br />Meier. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #586 <br />ZONING MAP CHANGES <br />FIRST READING <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them a copy <br />of the ordinance for their review and file. <br />Attorney Joss read the ordinance on first <br />reading by title only. He stated that this <br />ordinance is dealing with four areas; the <br />area near the Old Mill and immediately south, <br />proposed change from C-C to C-B. <br /> <br />The area east of Main St., north of Lafayette <br />St. to South Boulder Road from R-M to C-N <br />The area at Harper St., immediately east of <br />the railroad tracks from R-M to C-B. <br />The area immediately east of Lincoln Ave. <br />as it switches to Garfield Ave., immediately <br />south of the Goodhue Ditch and south of the <br />Scenic Heights subdivision. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he would like <br />to have the area he had petitioned for re- <br />zoning earlier considered in this ordinance <br />also. as it was the wishes of the people in <br />that area who petitioned for the rezoning. <br />
