NORTH WATER LINE <br />EASEMENT <br /> <br />COLORADO CRIME CHECK MAYOR <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />TRANSIT AWARENESS WEEK <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT - FIRE DIST. <br /> <br />MUTUAL AGREEMENT WITH CITY <br />OF LAFAYETTE FIRE DEPT. <br /> <br />February 9, 1978 <br />Minutes - page 4 <br /> <br />Councilman KiQker moved that pay <br />estimate #2 in the amount of $51,169.64 <br />be approved to Flatiron Paving. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked if the rough <br />edges around the new curbs was corrected <br />Mr. Wurl stated that between the two <br />jobs being done some of the asphalt had <br />to be taken out to do the curb and the <br />City will have Flatiron come in and <br />repair it at the City's expense. <br />After discussion roll call was taken. <br />DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, DiLorenzo yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, Meier yes, Kilker yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the <br />Mayor be authorized to sign the easement <br />deed - Louisville North Waterline <br />Easement. Seconded by Councilman <br />Kilker. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read the proclamation, pro- <br />claiming the week of February 12, as <br />Crime Prevention Week. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read a proclamation, proclaim- <br />ing the week of February 19, as Tran- <br />sit Awareness Week. <br /> <br />MR. George Brown stated that in doing <br />their plans for the fire district there <br />was a piece of property in the Mizel <br />property which they had put down as <br />a fire protection site. The Fire Dept. <br />needed to know Councils feeling, if <br />they planned on using the site for <br />a different purpose. <br />He stated that there was also a piece <br />of ground in the Hillsborough West sub- <br />division. <br />After comments Councilman Caranci moved <br />that Council confirm the designated areas <br />of Hillsborough West and Mizel to the <br />Fire Department for 5 years. Seconded <br />by Councilman Kilker. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the Fire Department <br />is requesting that the Mayor sign an <br />agreement of mutual aide with the Fire <br />Department of Lafayette. <br />Chief Pollock stated that in the past <br />there has been assistance, but never any <br />sort of agreement in writing.
