City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 6, 2022 <br />Page 2 of 13 <br />Amanda Zimmer, a dental hygienist in Louisville, spoke in support of the Sugary -Drink <br />Free September Proclamation. <br />Anjani Moro with Healthy Louisville Kids thanked Council for the Sugary -Drink Free <br />September Proclamation. <br />Tawnya Samauroo asked the Council to have a discussion of the evacuation for the <br />Marshall Fire, how to address any problems if it happens again, and fuels mitigation. <br />Greg Harms stated he lost his home to the fire and subsequently bought another fire <br />affected lot. He would like the Use Tax waiver/rebate to be available on the new lot. <br />Charlotte Buck would like to know how the City plans to correct the failure of evacuation <br />notice that occurred during the Marshall Fire. She wasn't following social media, so she <br />wasn't aware of what was happening. She asked for transparency on the plans for a <br />future evacuation. <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann asked for changes to the consent agenda; hearing none she asked <br />for a motion. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Maloney noted there are some significant items on the consent agenda <br />including the water rights disposition, the resolution for the museum's SCFD application, <br />the proclamation, and the 104th Street trails contracts. <br />Mayor Stolzmann also noted the proclamation and encouraged resident to attend the <br />programming at the Library. <br />Councilmember Fahey expressed her support of the proclamation and is in full support <br />of the resolution regarding the museum. <br />Motion: Mayor Pro Tem Maloney moved to approve the consent agenda, seconded by <br />Councilmember Leh. Vote: All in favor. <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B. Approval of Minutes: July 12, 2022; August 2, 2022 <br />C. Approval of Meeting Schedule Changes for the Remainder of 2022 <br />D. Approval of Resolution No. 36, Series 2022 — A Resolution Regarding <br />the Establishment of the City of Louisville Historical Museum and the <br />City's Application for Museum Funding from the Scientific and Cultural <br />Facilities District <br />
