Sec. 15.12.100. Copies available. <br /> <br /> At least one copy of the Intemational Fire Code, as amended herein, certified to be true <br />and accurate, shall be available for public inspection at the office of the building safety division, <br />between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. The <br />city clerk shall at all times maintain a reasonable supply of copies of the code available for <br />purchase by the public at a moderate price. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.12.110. Fire lane requirements. <br /> <br />mo <br /> <br />Single-family residences which are located more than 150 feet from the closest public <br />street right-of-way shall provide a fire lane from the street to the residence and the fire <br />lane shall be no less than 16 feet wide. <br /> <br />Bo <br /> <br />All buildings, except single-family residences, three stories or greater in height, shall <br />have ready access on public streets or fire lanes to at least two sides of the building from <br />which a rescue can be made. Access for rescue means doorways or windows. If there is <br />no access for rescue on the sides of the building, then fire lanes shall exist on the front <br />and back of the building. <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />No platted street in multifamily, industrial, business or commercial development ending <br />in a cul-de-sac or some other design shall exceed 300 feet in length without providing a <br />secondary fire lane access. <br /> <br />Do <br /> <br />No platted street in a single-family area ending in a cul-de-sac or some other design shall <br />exceed 500 feet in length without providing a secondary fire lane access. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.12.120. Fire lane specifications. <br /> <br />mo <br /> <br />Fire lanes shall be clearly marked with an approved sign and kept clear of obstruction. <br />The location and configuration of all fire lanes shall be approved by the city prior to <br />installation. <br /> <br />Bo <br /> <br />Fire lanes shall be at least 20 feet wide, but may be reduced to 16 feet wide upon <br />application to and approval of the city. Fire lane width requirements may be increased by <br />the city where normal widths are inadequate for fire or rescue operations. <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />The center of fire lanes at buildings shall be no more than 30 feet nor less than 20 feet <br />from the building, and all such lanes shall have an unobstructed outside turning radius of <br />no less than 45 feet and an inside turning radius of no less than 32 feet. <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br /> <br />
