The International Plumbing Code, 2003 Edition, published by the International Code Council, 4051 West Flossmoor Road, Country Club Hills, Illinois, 60478-5795, is adopted by reference thereto and incorporated into and made part of the Louisville Municipal Code. The purpose and subject matter of the International Plumbing Code (also referred to as the IPC) include comprehensive provisions regulating plumbing installations in or in connection with new and existing structures and providing International plumbing standards for the purpose of protecting the public health, safety and general welfare. Sec. 15.16.020 Amendments. The following amendments set forth in sections 15.16.030 through 15.16.130 are made to the International Plumbing Code. Sec. 15.16.030 Section P101.1 Title. Section P101.1 of the International Plumbing Code is amended to insert "the City of Louisville" so the section will read: P 101.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the Plumbing Code of the City of Louisville, hereinafter referred to as "this code." Sec. 15.16.040. Section P106.6.2 Schedule of permit fees. Section P106.6.2 shall read as follows: P106.6.2 Fee schedule. The fees for all plumbing work shall be as set forth in Section 108.2 of the International Building Code as adopted and amended. Sec. 15.16.050. Section P106.6.3 Refunds. Section P106.6.3 is amended to read as follows: P106.6.3 Refunds. The building official is authorized to establish a refund policy. Sec. 15.16.060.' Section P108.4 Violations. Delete Section P 108 in its entirety and replace with the following: P108.4 Violations. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building or structure or cause or permit the work to be done, in violation of the provisions of this chapter or the terms of the code or standards adopted and incorporated in this chapter.
