1.2. Results <br />PCI values provide an indication of the surface conditions and structural integrity of a pavement. The 0 <br />to 100 PCI range is commonly divided into various categories using descriptive terms. Divisions between <br />the terms are not fixed but are meant to reflect common perceptions of pavement conditions. Table 1 <br />shows the categories chosen to represent the City's PCI assessment criteria, and it includes typical <br />pavement distresses and M&R needs within each category. <br />Table 1.
