Exhibit B — Grazing Protocols <br />The City of Louisville Open Space Division requires that contractors hired to perform cattle <br />grazing on Open Space will conduct their jobs in a safe and professional manner. To help <br />ensure this, the City of Louisville Open Space Division has set the following protocols to be <br />followed by contractors: <br />1. Cattle grazing locations will be mutually agreed upon by the City and the Contractor <br />during the contract term. <br />2. Cattle grazing on Davidson Mesa Open Space shall take place during the spring and <br />fall. Grazing is permitted on Monday through Friday and on the weekends. <br />3. Contractor is required to obtain a Public Works Right -of Way permit prior to access to <br />Open Space <br />4. The Contractor must meet with a Louisville Open Space Division representative before <br />grazing occurs to be shown grazing site locations. <br />5. The Contractor is responsible for the safety and containment of the cows while on Open <br />Space. <br />6. The Contractor will not allow grazing within trail corridors. Any fecal matter on trails <br />must be removed by Contractor. <br />7. Contractor must use portable fencing to contain cows in designated areas and place <br />warning signage along the fence to alert the public of potential electric shock. <br />8. Precautions must be taken to reduce the spread of weed seeds while grazing on <br />Louisville Open Space. <br />9. Contractor is responsible for providing water for cows. <br />10. Public concerns will be directed to the Louisville Open Space Division. <br />11. The Contractor must limit speed to 10 mph, stop for pedestrians on the trail and be <br />aware of potential blind corners, and use hazards while on Open Space properties. <br />12. Any damages caused by the contractor shall be repaired, replaced, or reconstructed <br />with like materials to the satisfaction of the City at the Contractor's expense. <br />In signing this document, the contractor agrees to follow the previously listed services and <br />protocols. <br />Contracted Company <br />Contracted Applicator <br />Date <br />13 <br />
