Co <br />follows: <br /> <br />(c) Fifteen (15) miles per hour in alleys. <br /> <br />Section 1105, Speed contests, subsection (1) is amended to read as <br /> <br /> (1) No person shall engage in any motor vehicle speed <br />or acceleration contest and no person shall aid or abet in any such <br />motor vehicle speed or acceleration contest on any highway. <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1203, Impound and disposal of vehicles, is added to read <br /> <br />1203. <br /> <br />Impound and disposal of vehicles. <br /> <br />(1) Authority to impound vehicles. <br /> <br /> (a) Whenever any police officer finds a vehicle, <br />attended or unattended, standing upon any portion of a street or <br />highway right-of-way within the city in such a manner as to <br />constitute a violation of section 1210 of this code, or left <br />unattended on public property, including any portion of a street <br />right-of-way for a period of 24 hours or more, such officer shall <br />require such motor vehicle to be removed or cause the same to be <br />removed and placed in storage in any impound lot designated or <br />maintained by the law enforcement agency employing such officer. <br /> <br /> (b) Whenever any police officer finds a motor vehicle, <br />attended or unattended, standing upon any portion of a street right- <br />of-way in such a manner as to constitute an obstruction to traffic or <br />proper street maintenance, such officer is authorized to cause the <br />motor vehicle to be moved to eliminate any such obstruction; and <br />neither the officer nor anyone acting under his direction shall be <br />liable for any damage to such motor vehicle occasioned by such <br />removal. <br /> <br /> (2) Disposal of abandoned vehicle. Disposal of any vehicle <br />impounded pursuant to this section will be in accordance with C.R.S. § <br />42-4-1804. <br /> <br /> E. Section 1212, Parking not to obstruct traffic or maintenance, is <br />added to read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
