Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 17, 2023 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />To provide a grant request up to $4,000 toward an assessment <br />Landmark criteria "lite" <br />This proposal meets all four -review criteria: 50 years or older, has social <br />significance, has architectural significance, and has physical integrity. <br />Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends that the HPC make a finding of Probable Cause, making the <br />property at 1045 Front eligible for a Historic Structure Assessment grant not to <br />exceed $4,000 to reimburse the costs of the HSA. <br />Commissioner Questions of Staff. <br />None is heard. <br />Aly icant Presentation: <br />Jessica Bronson, Boulder resident <br />Bronson says she is excited to restore this property. She gives background <br />information on the family who lived there before her. <br />Commissioner Questions of Applicant: <br />Zuccaro lets Haley know that Commissioner Dahlia has joined the meeting <br />electronically. <br />No questions are heard from the commission. <br />Public Comment: <br />None is heard. <br />Discussion by Commissioners: <br />Beauchamp says he is in support of this and that it meets all the criteria. It is a <br />wonderful property. <br />Anderson says this is a good structure for this setup. He is in support of this <br />proposal. <br />Haley says she is also in support and believes that it meets all the review criteria. <br />She is in favor of this having probable cause. <br />Dalia moves and Beauchamp seconds a motion to approve probable cause for <br />1045 Front St. Motion passes unanimously by a roll call vote. <br />Work Plan & Subcommittee Updates <br />Dunlap says they are planning to meet with the artist for the coloring book this <br />week. We have received new drawings from the artist. <br />Beauchamp says they have somewhat finalized the Instagram profile. They are <br />committing to two posts per month. We just need to decide when we want to post <br />and a deadline for it. <br />3 <br />
