ORDINANCE #578 CONTINUED RESOLUTION #14 VACATION OF EASEMENT LIQUOR LICENSE BOARD CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT DEPT. OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLANNING December 20, 1977 Minutes - page 3 After discussion roll call vote was taken. Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes, Dhieux yes. Motion carried. Attorney Joss read Resolution #14 in regards to vacating an easement in Park- wood Filing #2. It was stated that the easement 2' wide is not necessary. Councilman Caranci moved that Resolution #14 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. Domenico yes, Caranci yes, Dhieux yes, DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. Attorney Joss stated that he has had a discussion with the Mayor and Councilman DiCarlo pertaining to the creating of a Board which would review the establish- ments serving liquor and what type of year they had as far as disturbances and violations go. Councilman Domenico stated that he did not feel a board was necessary. Councilman DiCarlo stated that he thought it would be beneficial. Councilman DelPizzo stated that he would have to look at both sides before commenting. Councilman Caranci stated that if there were citizens on the board and one is against a certain establishment, there may be problems. There was no action taken. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Caranci. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl stated that 10 applications were received for the Director of Community Development job and he requested Councils approval to hire Dennis Drumm effective January 1, 1978 for the position. Council stated that they felt that the new Council should be the ones to give the okay to hire the person. It was moved by Councilman Domenico that the matter be tabled until January 9, 1978 meeting. There was no second and the motion was declared dead.
