<br />ORDINANCE #578 <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14 <br />VACATION OF EASEMENT <br /> <br />LIQUOR LICENSE BOARD <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br />DEPT. OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT PLANNING <br /> <br />December 20, 1977 <br />Minutes - page 3 <br /> <br />After discussion roll call vote was taken. <br />Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, Dhieux yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Resolution #14 in <br />regards to vacating an easement in Park- <br />wood Filing #2. It was stated that the <br />easement 2' wide is not necessary. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Resolution <br />#14 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Roll call. Domenico yes, Caranci <br />yes, Dhieux yes, DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that he has had a <br />discussion with the Mayor and Councilman <br />DiCarlo pertaining to the creating of a <br />Board which would review the establish- <br />ments serving liquor and what type of <br />year they had as far as disturbances and <br />violations go. <br />Councilman Domenico stated that he did not <br />feel a board was necessary. <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that he thought <br />it would be beneficial. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he would <br />have to look at both sides before commenting. <br />Councilman Caranci stated that if there <br />were citizens on the board and one is <br />against a certain establishment, there <br />may be problems. <br />There was no action taken. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Attorney's report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilman Caranci. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that 10 applications were <br />received for the Director of Community <br />Development job and he requested Councils <br />approval to hire Dennis Drumm effective <br />January 1, 1978 for the position. <br />Council stated that they felt that the <br />new Council should be the ones to give <br />the okay to hire the person. <br />It was moved by Councilman Domenico that <br />the matter be tabled until January 9, 1978 <br />meeting. There was no second and the <br />motion was declared dead. <br />
