OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT CaN'T <br /> <br />LIBRARY BOARD APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />PAY ESTIMATE <br />LONGMONT LANDSCAPING <br /> <br />LETTERS E.F.IND. <br /> <br />December 20, 1977 <br />Minutes - page 4 <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that it is not technically <br />a Council appointment and did not feel the <br />delay necessary. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he felt <br />that Mr. Wurl should go ahead and hire <br />the person he feels qualified since the <br />Council has given him permission to hire <br />the department heads. <br />After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that the City Administrator be authorized <br />to hire the Community Development Director <br />as recommended by the City Administrator. <br />Seconded by Councilman Dhieux. <br />Roll call. Domenico yes, Caranci yes, <br />Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the library board <br />had a vacancy and are requesting that <br />Suzy Westbrook be appointed to the vacancy. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Suzy West- <br />brook be appointed to the Library Board. <br />Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the work done was at <br />the North Louisville Park, and a recom- <br />mendation was made by the engineer that <br />a payment in the amount of $8,055.90 be <br />approved. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the pay <br />estimate be approved for Longmont Land- <br />scaping. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. <br />Roll call. Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, Domenico yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that letters were sent to <br />the Sheriffs office and E.F. Industries <br />regarding the blasting outside of Louisville. <br />Mr. Yoblin telephoned Mr. Wur1 and stated <br />that he did not recall that any remark was <br />made on blasting outside the city limits. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he was going to check <br />in the past minutes to see if there were <br />any comments made to that effect. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he has received several <br />calls about fire arms being used in the <br />Mize1 area which is a part of the City. <br />Mr. Wur1 stated that there is live stock <br />on the property and farmers sometimes need <br />to use fire arms to protect the animals. <br />They are requesting that some type of <br />
