CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT SEWER PLANT PIPELINE CORRESPONDENCE APPROVAL OF BILLS ADJOURNMENT December 8, 1977 Minutes - page 5 Mr. Wurl stated that since the sewer plant was built in 1951, the water has run through a pipe to a property line and it then went in an open ditch to Coal Creek. Centaur Village wants to build apartments in that location and are in conflict with the City's ditch. After meeting with representatives from the firm, they have come up with an option to run a pipeline along the property line over to Coal Creek. Mr. Wurl stated that the City agrees with the plan providing that the pipeline is 18 inches as requested. The compnay will pay for the ex- penditure of filling in the ditch (approx. $3,000) and have the City pay for the new pipeline (approx. $8,000). Mr. Wurl stated that his feeling is that the City has used the ditch for many years and should not have to move it, and if the developer wants it moved, they should pay the expense to have it done. After discussion Councilman DelPizzo moved that Leon Wurl and Attorney Joss be authorized to con- tinue to negotiate and resolve the problem between Centaur Village and the City pertaining to the open ditch from the sewer plant. Seconded by Councilman Dhieux. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence. Councilman Caranci moved that the City Admin- istrators report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. Treasurer Hesson read the bills totalling $256,600.63. Councilman Domenico moved that the bills be accepted and checks issued for the same. Seconded by Councilman Dhieux. Motion carried. Councilman Domenico moved that the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried; meeting adjourned at 9:05 P.M.
