COLORADO & SOUTHERN RAILROAD ANNEXATION JAYCEES LIQUOR LICENSE REQUEST POSS CONSTRUCTION CITY ATTORNEY REPORT ORDINANCE {f559 2ND READING ZONING HILLS BOROUGH WEST PUBLIC HEARING July 5, 1977 Minutes - page 2 Councilman HcDonald moved that discussion on the matter be tabled until 8-2-77. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. Mr. Brian Herrington, Jaycee's President, stated that they re requesting a liquor license for 3.2% beer sales during the fall festival. He stated that they were aware of the location problem, but wanted to get the application in so the Council would be aware of the request. It was noted that the posting at the location has only to be 10 days and there would be no problem with setting the public hearing on August 2, 1977. After discussion Councilman Caranci moved that a public hearing be set for August 2, 1977, for the Jaycees liquor license application. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call on motion. McDonald no, DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, Domenico yes, DiLorenzo yes. Motion carri,ed. Councilman Caranci moved that Council authorize the advertising for final payment of the re- tainage fee. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Roll call vote. Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes, DiLorenzo yes, McDonald yes. Motion carried. Staff noted that the proper publication and notices have been made. Attorney Joss read- Ordinance #559 on second reading by title only. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. There were no comments for or against. The public hearing was closed. There was no discussion from Council. Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance #559 be adopted. Se- conded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call vote. Domenioc yes" DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, McDonald yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. With nothing more to report, Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City ATtorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Motion carried.
