<br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />AUDIT <br /> <br />WILLIAM OLSEN REQUEST <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />SNEDDON RESIGNATION <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />GAS STATION BUSINESS <br /> <br />July 5, 1977 <br />Minutes - page 3 <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that a memo from LURA has <br />been received and the Board needs to know who <br />will be auditing the Community Development <br />books. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that it is staffs recommendation <br />that Alexander Grant & Co., the City auditors, <br />should be used. <br />Councilman McDonald moved that the City obtain <br />Alexander Grant & Co., to do the CDBG pro- <br />gram audit. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read the letter from Mr. Olsen re- <br />garding the purchasing of City land located <br />behind property owned by Marvin Pierce and <br />Seney de Yoa1l1na. Mr. Wurl stated that Pierce <br />and deYoanna have an option on the land and <br />would be willing to release the option to <br />Mr. Olsen, however, he did not feet it would <br />be to the City's advantage to accept the <br />offer as the option will be up in September. <br />After comments Councilman McDonald moved that <br />the Olsen request for the purchase of the pro- <br />perty be denied. Seconded by Councilman <br />Domenico. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read the letter from Robert Sneddon <br />on his resignation from the Planning Commission. <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the resignation <br />be accepted. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman MeDonald then moved that Sneddons <br />position be advertised in the paper through <br />July 29, 1977. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />With no more to report Councilman DiCarlo <br />moved that the City Administrators report be <br />accepted and placed on file. Seconded by <br />Councilman McDonald. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico stated that the stations <br />have called on the amount of business they are <br />receiving from the City. Mr. Wurl stated that <br />would check it out again. <br />
