208 CONTINUED

1. The planning function should be
accomplished by Boulder County in lieu
of DRCOG.

2. The operations aspect should be done
by the individual communities in the basin.

3. The management activities should be
provided by the Coal Creek Association.

Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion
carried.

Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City
Administrators report be accepted and
placed on file. Seconded by Councilman
Domenico. Motion carried.

COUNCIL COMMENTS &
COMMITTEE REPORTS

Councilman DelPizzo commented that he was
at the Sewer Plant last week and on the
north side of the polishing pond there is
a hole 8 feet deep and filled with tons
of concrete deposited there by the con-
tractors in the subdivisions and suggested
that steps be taken to prevent this from
happening again and what is there should
be removed.
Mayor Waschak scheduled February 3, at
5:00 P.M. for Council to go to the plant
and view the problem.

LUC VS. LOAN CO.

Councilman McDonald asked if some type of
correspondence could be sent to the LUC
pertaining to this area stating that
loan agencies are skeptical of the area
and don't want to invest for fear of
possible subsidence.
She felt that this was a serious problem
and felt that the LUC started all the con-
fusion and should be made to do something
about it.
Mr. Wurl advised that his recommendation
would be to have all the lending agencies,
realtors, contractors associations get
together and read all the LUC rules and
regulations and then tell the LUC that the
ultimate decisions be made by the local
municipalities even at the lowest level.

CITY VEHICLES

Councilman DiCarlo asked Mr. Wurl how
many vehicles were parked at the City
Garage.
Mr. Wurl stated that there were three
and the street sweeper.

-10-
