<br />FIRE TRUCK ENGINE <br /> <br />PUBLIC SERVICE FRANCHISE <br /> <br />CBD GRANT <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & REPORTS <br />CD APPLICATION <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that there was a carry <br />over from the 1976 budget around $16,000 <br />and the cost of the repairs for the new <br />engine could be taken from the budget for <br />1976. <br />Councilman Caranci stated that he did not <br />approve of taking the money from the 1976 <br />budget. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the auditors leave the <br />books open for a certain length of time to <br />cover any late bills and this would be <br />alright. <br />Councilman McDonald moved that the City <br />take money from the 1976 Fire Department <br />budget to pay for repairs on the Mack <br />fire truck engine. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Roll call. Caranci no, DelPizzo yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, McDonald yes, DiLorenzo yes, <br />Domenico yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he has talked with <br />the Public Service Co. and they have de- <br />livered a proposed franchise, which will <br />be discussed at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that sometime back Council <br />approved staff work to file for a grant <br />from FHA for the CBD improvements; the <br />grant was not approved. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that in talking with FHA <br />again he felt it would be a good time to <br />apply again for the grant. <br />He requested that Council authorize staff <br />to again apply for the grant. <br />Councilman McDonald moved that staff be <br />authorized to proceed to apply for a grant <br />from FHA for CBD improvements Stage I. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiLorenzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that he spoke with Mr. <br />Chenoweth that the applications was not <br />quite ready to be presented to Council and <br />he asked if Council could have an adjourned <br />meeting or if they would give permission <br />to the Mayor to sign the application with <br />the line items that Council had approved <br /> <br />-8- <br />
