<br />REORGANIZATION CONT'D <br /> <br />make up the new salary. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the budget for <br />Parks & Rec under consulting fees was <br />cut $3,500 since the staff felt that <br />Mr. Drumm could do the consulting for <br />that department. <br />Councilman McDonald stated that she felt <br />that Mr. Chenoweth and Mr. Drumm could <br />work together and that this would also <br />give the LURA Board a chance to get to <br />know Mr. Drumm. <br />She also stated that the timing was bad <br />and that with the C.D. application it <br />might put a big load on Mr. Drumm as <br />the new Director. <br />She stated that the salaries also <br />bothered her. <br />She felt it best not to take any action <br />until HUD has responded to the situation. <br />Councilman Domenico stated that he was <br />not satisfied with the problem. He <br />stated that he was not satisfied with <br />Mr. Chenoweth and salaries and that he <br />could not see keeping both person on. <br />Councilman Domenico stated for the <br />record that he did not approve of trans- <br />portation expenses. <br />Mr. Lundberg stated that transportation <br />is not traveling to and from the job, <br />but from the job to meetings, etc. that <br />pertain to the persons job. <br /> <br />Councilman DiLorenzo asked what time <br />period there would be for the transitional <br />period. <br />Mr. Lundberg stated that he felt a 90 <br />day period would be reasonable and Mr. <br />Chenoweth has agreed. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci asked why such a long <br />time. <br />Mr. Lundberg stated that although the <br />application is turned in there still <br />may be some matters involved with it that <br />will take more time. <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if that was a <br />regular 40 hour a week job. <br />Mr. Lundberg stated that it was not, but <br />a job that may require more hours or less. <br />He stated that he knew that the staff <br />and director could be doing more work. <br /> <br />-6- <br />
