<br />CITY ATTORNEY CONTID <br /> <br />thirty days. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiLorenzo. Roll call. McDonald no, <br />Caranci no, DiCarlo yes, DiLorenzo yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, Domenico no. Mayor <br />Waschak voted no, to defeat the motion. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci then moved that <br />Attorney Bruce Joss be appointed to <br />fill the position of Attorney Morris <br />for the remaining term of the <br />Mayor and Council. Seconded by Council <br />man McDonald. <br />Council noted that Mr. Joss will be <br />approached about the job as it stands <br />now and he has the privilege to accept <br />or reject the offer. <br />After discussion roll call was taken: <br />Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />DiLorenzo yes, DelPizzo yes, McDonald <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />DRCOG REPORT <br /> <br />Councilman DiLorenzo stated that DRCOG <br />is in favor of a sixth basin for the <br />City. <br /> <br />COUNTY CONSORTIUM MEETING <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald stated that the <br />208 program was discussed at the meeting <br />also and that there was a definate <br />problem. She stated that the City of <br />Louisville is more up on the situation <br />then many other cities. <br />She stated that it was noted that the <br />City is interested in a sixth basin <br />and she felt it was received in a <br />positive way. <br /> <br />EMERGENCY LIGHTS <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl noted that the bid has been <br />received and have come in higher then <br />the states estimated cost. <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked if the school <br />district could help. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he did not think <br />they were eligible to apply. He <br />stated that they are working on the <br />program to possibly install a portion <br />of the lights this year and the rest <br />next year. <br /> <br />GRADE SCHOOL PROPERTY <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl statedfuat the staff has met <br />with the school district and they <br />stated that they are willing to proceed. <br />They have requested a letter outlining <br />the procedure; which has been done. <br /> <br />6~ <br />- - <br />
