<br />AQUARIUS ANNEXATION <br />ORD. #511 CONT'D <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald stated that she is <br />not in favor of more housing at this time <br />and noted that under agriculture zoning, <br />a home is permitted at every 5 acres. <br />Councilman Caranci stated that he would <br />probably be in favor of a housing devel- <br />opment as the City needs to have growth <br />to build and improve their facilities. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico stated that he would <br />take about any request for annexation <br />under zoning as the City has the land and <br />has more control over the usage. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated thati he was in <br />favor of the annexation and zoning <br />requests. <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that the key to <br />rezoning is the water situation. <br />Mr. Robert Hinsberger, 728 LaFarge, <br />stated that he was not in favor of the <br />annexation. <br /> <br />Mr. Drumm reintereated that the building <br />under agriculture zoning is one home per <br />5 acres. <br /> <br />Mr. Hinsberger stated that he felt the <br />area should be less developable in the <br />County because of City services. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the chance of devel- <br />oping without services is not entierly <br />true as there is an area east on Hwy. 42, <br />which is developing and does not have <br />City services. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance <br />#511 be ordered published. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. <br />Roll call vote on motion. Domenico yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, McDonald yes, <br />DiLorenzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #512 <br />ZONING OF AQUARIUS <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them a <br />copy of Ordinance #512 on Aquarius zoning <br />for their review and files. <br />Attorney Morris read Ordinance #512 by <br />title only on first reading. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing <br />There were no comments. <br />The public hearing was closed and discussion <br />turned over to Council. <br /> <br />-6- <br />
