<br />OIL & GAS LEASE <br /> <br />FIRST FEDERAL REIMBURSEMENT <br /> <br />CITY HALL PROJECT <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the matter was <br />discussed at the last meeting and tabled <br />until reviewed by Attorney Morris' brother. <br />Attorney Morris stated that Attorney Roy <br />Morris reviewed the lease and stated that <br />from a practical standpoint, the first <br />lease has the paying of First Federal in- <br />cluded and felt that the City would not <br />make anything because the wells would <br />not produce that much. He felt that it <br />would not benefit the City. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he needed to know <br />which way Council would like to go. <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that it might <br />be best to go with the first offer. <br />After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that the City enter into an agreement <br />with the second party, Mr. Hank Wishard, <br />and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk <br />to sign the agreement on the oil and <br />gas lease. Seconded by Councilmand <br />Domenico. Roll call. Domenioc yes, Caranci <br />no, DiLorenzo yes, McDonald yes, DiCarlo <br />yes, DelPizzo no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Council voiced their opinions on whether <br />the City should reimburse First Federal <br />Savings for their expenses to cap the well <br />that was located in their subdivision. <br />Mr. Wurl noted that the City did not <br />have to put forth any money. <br />Councilman DiLorenzo moved that the <br />Mayor and City Clerk no longer be authorized <br />to signe the agreement with First Federal <br />Savings. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. <br />Roll call. DelPizzo no, DiCarlo yes, <br />Caranci no, McDonald abstained, DiLorenzo <br />yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that the City <br />must supply a set of plans and specifica- <br />tions to be considered for the EDA grant. <br />An architect has been contacted and is <br />willing to do the plans. There will be <br />no charge unless the grant is approved; <br />the fee would be 10% of the project cost. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Council <br />approve the architect to draw up the <br />preliminary plans and to continue with <br />the application for the grant. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br /> <br />6. <br />
