<br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />CAT ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Councilman DiLorenzo stated that she has <br />received many call on the cats that are <br />tearing trash bags and would like to get <br />some sort of ordinance pertaining to <br />cats. <br /> <br />LONG RANGE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION <br /> <br />Councilman DiLorenzo stated that the <br />highway recommendations were discussed <br />and she noted the recommendations that were <br />accomplished. <br />She stated that she received support on <br />the recommendations pertaining to Highway <br />287 and the Superior Exchange. <br /> <br />ETHEL LAWRENCE PAY & <br />VACATION <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico stated that he felt <br />that Mrs. Lawrence is a full time employee <br />and should get two weeks vacation and <br />bi-monthly pay. <br />Mr. Murl stated that although she works <br />every day she is not full time because she <br />does not put in a full 40 hours a week. <br />He suggested that if she had questions, <br />she should talk with Mr. Wurl. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if there <br />were guidelines for the Planning Commission <br />to operate under. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the Planning Commission <br />has by-laws which they maintain. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that 6 years <br />is too long. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he also <br />did not feel that relatives should serve <br />on the same board and felt this should be <br />considered when appointments are made. <br />He also stated that having relatives serving <br />on the same board may cause too much in- <br />fluence on each other. <br />Councilman Domenico stated that he has heard <br />persons stating that the Planning Commission <br />has too much authority. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the Planning Commission <br />only makes recommendations and the Council <br />approves or disapproves. <br />There was no action taken on the matter. <br /> <br />KEITH HELART - PARK <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald requested that Keith <br />Helart be in attendance at the next meeting <br />to discuss the revenues and expenditures <br />of the Parks & Recreation programs. <br /> <br />-10- <br />
