LIQUOR LICENSE FEES Mr. Wurl stated that it cost the City roughly - $70.00 to issue the license. Mr. Wurl also stated that the legislature passed last year, a law stating that the cities may charge a fee of not more then $350 for a new license, $150 for transfers and $50 for renewals. Also, there is a charge equal to the State fee for Special Events license. Councilman Domenico stated that he was opposed to the fee and moved that it be defeated. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. Domenico abstained, DelPizzo no, Mcdoanld no, DiCarlo no, Caranci no, DiLorenzo no. Motion defeated. Councilman McDoanld then moved that the matter be tabled until the November 4, 1976 meeting. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Motion carried. CONTRACT CHANGE WATER STORAGE TANK Mr. Wurl stated that there were two changes that could be made in the contract for the water storage tank. 1. A tie in was provided for in the contract between the 16" and 18" pipes; however, there is already one existing. 2. Also a 12" check valve which was in- cluded in the specs was existing. With these two deletions from the contract it would be reduced by $10,519. It was staffs recommendation that the contract change order be approved by Council. Councilman McDonald moved that Council authorize the Contract Change Orders to be signed reducing the amount of the con- tract by $10,519. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. Domenico yes, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, McDonald yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. AUDIENCE COMMENTS RTD Mrs. Sally Carter stated that she, along with several people in the Louisville area, would like to see an RTD bus come through Louisville in the morning going to Denver as there are people who would be able to utilize it. She stated that there is a bus which can be caught in Denver That comes to Louisville in the evening which they would be able to use if they could get a bus in the morning -4-
