<br />RTD CONT'D <br /> <br />Council stated that they have tried many <br />times to get a bus through Louisville and <br />have not had very good luck. <br />They stated that possibly a petition might <br />do some good. <br />Mr. wurl stated that Mrs. Carter was really <br />the first person to ever approach Council <br />and state that there was a need for the <br />services. <br />Councilman McDonald requested that Mr. Wurl <br />write to the RTD representatives and ask <br />them for a response to the information <br />they were to provide for the City when <br />they last visited. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that it might <br />be suggested to RTD that the buses that <br />run between Denver and Boulder begin <br />earlier and stop at the Superior exit for <br />persons in the Louisville area who need to <br />catch them. <br />Mr. Hershey stated that he felt that the <br />persons running RTD should be elected <br />officials who have to answer to the tax <br />payers instead of persons hired who really <br />don't have much concern for the smaller <br />communities. <br />Mr. Wurl will write RTD requesting a re- <br />presentative be present at the November <br />4, meeting. <br />Attorney Morris will write a letter to <br />RTD and the State regarding the unavail- <br />ability of RTD within Louisville. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak suggested that Mrs. Carter <br />inform her friends who also commute and <br />urge them to attend the meeting to visit <br />with the representatives. <br /> <br />There were no other audience comments. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />MAYHOFFER SUIT <br /> <br />Attorney Morris stated that he has met with <br />the attorney for Mayhoffer and as it stands <br />now it will go to court about the middle <br />of December. <br /> <br />PIERCE SUIT <br /> <br />There was nothing new to report. Mr. <br />Wurl stated that this will not appear <br />on the agenda again unless need arises. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
