CONT'D <br /> <br />After discussion on the location, it was <br />understood that if the license was granted, <br />it would be on Spruce St. east of the <br />alley to Front St. <br />Glen Steinbaugh stated that he had spoken <br />with the Legion and they stated that the <br />Elks could set up a bingo stand directly north <br />of the fun center on Spruce also. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he would get with Mr. <br />Ross to correct the problem. <br />After discussion Mayor Waschak opened the <br />public hearing. <br />No one spoke against the license. <br />Mr. Schreiter spoke in favor of it stating <br />that last year it was kept under control and <br />he felt that many young people stayed out <br />of the bars and he knew of no fights in <br />their area. <br />With no more comments Mayor Waschak closed <br />the public hearing and Councilman Domenico <br />moved that the liquor license for 3.2% <br />beer requested by the Jaycees be approved. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Councilman DiCarlo then moved to amend the <br />motion that the area designated will be <br />east of the alley on Spruce St. <br />Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Roll call <br />on amendment. Domenico yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, McDonald yes, DiLorenzo yes, <br />Caranci yes. Kmendment carried. <br />Roll call on motion. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AQUARIUS ANNEXATION <br />PROPOSAL <br /> <br />Mr. Ray Caranci, one of six owners of the <br />property, informed Council that they have <br />made application for annexation into the <br />City as agricultural zoning at this time. <br />After the presentation Councilman DiCarlo <br />moved that the request for annexation be <br />referred to the Planning Commission for <br />their review and recommendations. Seconded <br />by Councilman DiLorenzo. <br />Councilman Caranci asked what the policy was <br />for the annexing of property under agricul- <br />tural zoning. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the new zoning amend- <br />ments provide the zoning of agriculture. <br />Roll call vote was taken on motion. <br />Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DiLorenzo yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, McDonald yes, DiCarlo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. <br />
