JAYCEES LIC. CONT'D After discussion on the location, it was understood that if the license was granted, it would be on Spruce St. east of the alley to Front St. Glen Steinbaugh stated that he had spoken with the Legion and they stated that the Elks could set up a bingo stand directly north of the fun center on Spruce also. Mr. Wurl stated that he would get with Mr. Ross to correct the problem. After discussion Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. No one spoke against the license. Mr. Schreiter spoke in favor of it stating that last year it was kept under control and he felt that many young people stayed out of the bars and he knew of no fights in their area. With no more comments Mayor Waschak closed the public hearing and Councilman Domenico moved that the liquor license for 3.2% beer requested by the Jaycees be approved. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Councilman DiCarlo then moved to amend the motion that the area designated will be east of the alley on Spruce St. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Roll call on amendment. Domenico yes, DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes, McDonald yes, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes. Kmendment carried. Roll call on motion. AQUARIUS ANNEXATION PROPOSAL Mr. Ray Caranci, one of six owners of the property, informed Council that they have made application for annexation into the City as agricultural zoning at this time. After the presentation Councilman DiCarlo moved that the request for annexation be referred to the Planning Commission for their review and recommendations. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Councilman Caranci asked what the policy was for the annexing of property under agricul- tural zoning. Mr. Wurl stated that the new zoning amend- ments provide the zoning of agriculture. Roll call vote was taken on motion. Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DiLorenzo yes, DelPizzo yes, McDonald yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. 2.
