COLORADO TECHNOLOGICAL CENTER RESOLUTION #16 ORDINANCE #507 AND APPROVAL OF LETTER TO THE LUC ORDINANCE #507 ZONING AMENDMENTS FIRST READING Mr. Wurl stated that most of the items were staff generated as a result of the action taken by the State of Colorado at their meeting in Pueblo, Colorado. Basically, there were two items that the LUC was truly interested in. 1. Designation of additional 150 acres of land. At Councils last meeting they indicated to staff that they would rather not designate the additional 150 acres. 2. Adoption of a certification program as relates to professionals that will be active in the project. Staff prepared the Ordinance to deal with the certification. Staff prepared a Resolution and modified it somewhat stating Councils position as relates to the 150 acres of additional land for designation; and have drafted a letter which they would be amending before sending to the LUC. Dennis Drumm stated that it would be bene- ficial to refer to the adoption of the Ordinance which pertains to certifications first. Let the record reflect that all members of Council had for their review a copy of Ordinance #507 before them. Attorney Morris read Ordinance #507 on first reading by title only. He noted the one change in Section 3. - where it states "Article is hereby amended.." it should state "Article 13ishereby amended.." and that is the way the ordlnance would be adopted. Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance #507 be ordered published. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Councilman McDonald asked if the memorandum Council received for section 13, is what was being adopted under Ordinance #507. Attorney Morris stated that basically that was what was being adopted, only they had added some wording clarification. It is now more detailed then the original. Councilman McDonald questioned the meaning of section 13-l05(C). Dennis Drumm referred to the zoning amend- ments in order to answer Councilman McDonalds question. 3.
