RTD CONTINUED BOULDER COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT REQUEST JAYCEE'S LIQUOR LICENSE PUBLIC HEARING DATE CONTINENTAL VIEW ESTATES SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DIST. Minutes - page 2 July 20, 1976 Councilman Caranci stated that he did not want to deny the proposal completely because the citizens are paying for it and the proposal may be a good start. After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City write RTD and inform them that the City can not accept the proposal as presented and would like to have a formal meeting with them to dis- cuss it further before any final decision is made. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call. DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, McDonald yes, DiLorenzo yes. Motion carried. RTD Board will be asked to be present at the next Council meeting. Mr. Wurl stated that each year the City gets a request to participate in funding the Boulder County Health Department. This year the department is asking the City to give $2,900 which is about 50% over last years request. Council requested that the department be contacted and a report brought back to Council on the benefits received by Louisville from the Health Department. Council felt that the request was quite large. There was no further action taken pend- ing the report from the department. Mr. Wurl stated that the application is for a beer license 3.2% to be used during the fall festival by the Jaycee's. Councilman Caranci moved that the public hearing be scheduled for the first meeting in August. Seconded by Council- man DelPizzo. Motion carried. This item was tabled by request of Thomas Suitts, developer. Mr. Wurl reviewed the schedule for sidewalk improvements around the City. Mr. Wurl stated that the Staff is re- questing Councils approval to proceed with the project preparation, final plans and specs, and to order the project improvement area and the staff will take care of the following steps of notifying the parties involved before actually -2-
