<br />RTD CONTINUED <br /> <br />BOULDER COUNTY HEALTH <br />DEPARTMENT REQUEST <br /> <br />JAYCEE'S LIQUOR LICENSE <br />PUBLIC HEARING DATE <br /> <br />CONTINENTAL VIEW ESTATES <br /> <br />SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DIST. <br /> <br />Minutes - page 2 <br />July 20, 1976 <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci stated that he did <br />not want to deny the proposal completely <br />because the citizens are paying for it <br />and the proposal may be a good start. <br />After discussion Councilman DiCarlo <br />moved that the City write RTD and inform <br />them that the City can not accept the <br />proposal as presented and would like to <br />have a formal meeting with them to dis- <br />cuss it further before any final decision <br />is made. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. <br />Roll call. DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, McDonald yes, DiLorenzo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br />RTD Board will be asked to be present <br />at the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that each year the City <br />gets a request to participate in funding <br />the Boulder County Health Department. <br />This year the department is asking the <br />City to give $2,900 which is about <br />50% over last years request. <br />Council requested that the department <br />be contacted and a report brought back <br />to Council on the benefits received by <br />Louisville from the Health Department. <br />Council felt that the request was quite <br />large. <br />There was no further action taken pend- <br />ing the report from the department. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the application <br />is for a beer license 3.2% to be used <br />during the fall festival by the Jaycee's. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the public <br />hearing be scheduled for the first <br />meeting in August. Seconded by Council- <br />man DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />This item was tabled by request of <br />Thomas Suitts, developer. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reviewed the schedule for <br />sidewalk improvements around the City. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the Staff is re- <br />questing Councils approval to proceed <br />with the project preparation, final plans <br />and specs, and to order the project <br />improvement area and the staff will take <br />care of the following steps of notifying <br />the parties involved before actually <br /> <br />-2- <br />
