Four <br />training sessions were held during the year. A total of 94 sellers and servers from <br />licensed establishments attended the training sessions with 50 from Louisville <br />businesses. <br />ACTION ITEMS <br />The Authority held ten regularly scheduled meetings in 2008. <br />In 2008, the Authority renewed 45 liquor licenses. <br />The Authority approved two new Hotel and Restaurant Licenses in 2008, and one new <br />Tavern license. In addition, seventeen Special Events Permits were issued to five non- <br />profit organizations. <br />The breakdown for the 49 liquor licenses held in the City of Louisville is as <br />follows: <br />Hotel Restaurant 29 <br />Beer Wine 2 <br />3.2% Beer (Off Premises) 6 <br />Retail Liquor Store 6 <br />Tavern 4 <br />Club 2 <br />2 <br />
