CORRESPONDENCE COLO. PARKS LETTER Stated both applications for Grants on baseball fields have been denied. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City Administrator's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Question called for - all in favor. Motion carried. COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilman DelPizzo stated that Mr. Petrelli had contacted him and he was concerned about his property next to the Fire Hall. The firemen have been driving thru his property and his concern was that maybe in the future the property would become that of the City. Administrator Wurl stated he would take care of the problem. Councilman DelPizzo expressed concern about the ditch running near the tennis courts in the Louisville North subdivision. Several children play in the area and when water is running in the ditch there is danger of drowning. Administrator Wurl and Engineer White were asked to view the area and help solve the problem. Councilman Domenico expressed concern about the dogs running loose early in the morning; 2:00 a.m. & 3:00 a.m. Advised Code Enforce- ment Officer to check up on situation. Councilman DiCarlo inquired when the speed limit on South Boulder Road was changed to 40 MPH why this limit was not extended to Hiway 42? Administrator Wurl responded Council had voted it down. Councilman DiCarlo asked the staff - what constitutes a kennel? He suggested the Building Inspector check on the situation. Councilman McDonald inquired what happened to our cross-walks and controls for pedes- trians? Administrator Wurl advised it would be done as soon as possible. Councilman McDonald inquired about Xmas decorations. The gentlemen Administrator Wurl was negotiating with on Christmas decorations passed away, he will contact his assistant and report back. -14-
