<br />CORRESPONDENCE <br />COLO. PARKS LETTER <br /> <br />Stated both applications for Grants <br />on baseball fields have been denied. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Administrator's report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />Domenico. Question called for - all in <br />favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that Mr. Petrelli <br />had contacted him and he was concerned about <br />his property next to the Fire Hall. The <br />firemen have been driving thru his property <br />and his concern was that maybe in the future <br />the property would become that of the City. <br />Administrator Wurl stated he would take care <br />of the problem. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo expressed concern about <br />the ditch running near the tennis courts in <br />the Louisville North subdivision. Several <br />children play in the area and when water is <br />running in the ditch there is danger of <br />drowning. Administrator Wurl and Engineer <br />White were asked to view the area and help <br />solve the problem. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico expressed concern about <br />the dogs running loose early in the morning; <br />2:00 a.m. & 3:00 a.m. Advised Code Enforce- <br />ment Officer to check up on situation. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo inquired when the speed <br />limit on South Boulder Road was changed to <br />40 MPH why this limit was not extended to <br />Hiway 42? Administrator Wurl responded <br />Council had voted it down. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked the staff - what <br />constitutes a kennel? He suggested the <br />Building Inspector check on the situation. <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald inquired what happened <br />to our cross-walks and controls for pedes- <br />trians? Administrator Wurl advised it would <br />be done as soon as possible. <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald inquired about Xmas <br />decorations. The gentlemen Administrator <br />Wurl was negotiating with on Christmas <br />decorations passed away, he will contact <br />his assistant and report back. <br /> <br />-14- <br />
