<br />LAND ACQUISITION CONT'D <br /> <br />Action requested was Council's con- <br />currence to have ~ meeting with Lafayette <br />and try to resolve the problem. <br />Also action was requested for the approval <br />of the purchase of land from Property <br />Brokers, Inc. subject to Attorney Morris' <br />review. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />enter an agreement for Tracts 1 thru 5 <br />with Property Brokers, Inc. and author- <br />ize the Mayor to sign the contract subject <br />to Attorney Morris' approval. Seconded <br />by Councilman Domenico. Question called <br />for - all in favor. Motion carried. <br />Councilman McDonald moved that Mayor <br />Waschak and Mayor Pro-tem Caranci, and <br />City Administrator Wurl be authorized <br />to meet with Lafayette. Seconded by <br />Councilman DiCarlo. Question called <br />for - all in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SUPERIOR LETTER <br />RESPONSE TO THEIR LETTER <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br />Enclosed for Council's information was <br />the City's response to letter to Superior <br />regarding their comments to our Compre- <br />hensive Plan. <br />No comments from Council <br /> <br />BROOMFIELD RESOLUTION <br />RE: CITY'S COMPo PLAN <br /> <br />Copy of resolution submitted to Council <br />for information. No action requested. <br /> <br />BOULDER COUNTY LETTER <br />POSITION STATEMENT <br />RE: COMPo PLAN REVIEW <br /> <br />POLICE CHIEF'S CAR USAGE <br /> <br />The staff developed a "position statement" <br />on the City's comprehensive plan review, <br />addressed to Ed Tepe, the Boulder County <br />Planner, outlining for him, the County <br />Commissioners, DRCOG, and the County <br />Long Range Planning Commission, what we <br />feel the City's position is relating to <br />the consideration of our comprehen- <br />sive plan. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the Staff <br />be authorized to send the "Position State- <br />ment" letter to Ed Tepe and others. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Question <br />called for - all in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Information provided Council members by <br />Chief Munger on usage of his car. Adm. Wurl <br />advised that the Chief was having a change <br />in policy and he would be going on more of <br />the assist calls when a command officer is needed. <br />Book Publishing Co. advises City would get its first <br />run in June. <br /> <br />mDIFlCATION OF ORDINANCES <br /> <br />- 13 - <br />
