WATER TAP & SEWER TAP INCREASE CONTID Mr. Wurl stated that the City could go ahead and take the needed money from taxes of citizens already in the community; how- ever, when the developments were presented to the City, it was stated that there would be no cost to the citizens here for the new developments. Mr. Wurl stated that it would negligent on his part to not make the Council aware of the fact that if they continue to sell taps at the old cost and have to pay todays prices, the City would get into trouble. Steve Anderson stated that because of the needed increases there may be a possible concession to help keep the price down. He stated that on the developers plans the City might allow to have concessions such as on sidewalk and street construction. He felt this might help balance out the costs. After discussion roll call was taken on the motion to draft an ordinance to in- crease tap fees. Domenico no, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, McDonald abstained, DelPizzo no. Motion carried. CORRESPONDENCE ORDINANCE #497 Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence. Mr. Wurl stated that Ordinance #497 which could be dealt with tonight was left off the agenda. It has to do with the rezoning of Louisville North - 1st Filing. Council decided to table the matter. ENGINEER STUDY - TANK Engineer \Vhite reported that the necessary reports are being filed to get a special use review through the County. With no more comments Councilman Domenico moved that the City Administrators report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Motion carried. COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS DRAPES Councilman Domenico gave his approval on the new drapes in the Council chambers. CODIFICATION Councilman DiCarlo questioned the progress of the codification. Mr. Wurl stated that all needed ordinances have been sent, but he has not heard any- thing further. -9-
