CEMETERY RULES &
REGULATIONS CONT'D

CITY ENGINEER VEHICLE

Councilman DiCarlo asked whay type of
repercussion can the City get involved with
with the land that is out there and not
dedicated to the City.
Mr. Wurl stated that there were some things
that need to be worked out and brought back
to Council for approval.
Councilman DiCarlo then moved that the
Cemetery Rules & Regulations governing
the cemetery be adopted. Seconded by
Councilman Caranci.
Councilman DelPizzo stated that if the City
is going to maintain the cemetery, then the
organizations owning property should be made
to pay the City for maintenance or they
should turn their property over to the City.
}1r. Wurl stated that he feels the problem
viTill be resolved however, it has been
difficult getting the persons together
to discuss the situation.
After discussion roll call vote was taken
on the adoption of the Cemetery Rules &
Regulations. Domenico yes, Caranci yes,
HcDonald yes, DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes,
DiLorenzo yes. Motion carried.

. Wurl stated that the vehicle was put
in the 1976 budget. He stated that the
Engineer has reviewed various vehicles and
has come up with a 1976 Van which could
be utilized when groups of people are tra-
veling to a meeting on City business.
Mr. Wurl stated that he would like to have
Councils approval to order the vehicle and
to incorporate the lease payments into the
the same ordinance for the leasing of
the police vehicle which was recently approved.
Mr. Wurl stated that the problem is that
the City Inspectors vehicle is about ready
to give out, so with the purchase of the
van, the City Inspector would get the old
Engineers vehicle. He stated that the
reason personal cars are not used with
mileage paid is because the areas which
must be traveled by these people would not
be compensated for by an expense account,
this is also why the building department
is given the use of the older vehicles.
Councilman DelPizzo suggested that the
Police Department purchase a motorcycle
for patroling the streets which would help
control the purchasing of vehicles. Coun-
cil felt at this time if would more critical
to purchase a motorcycle.

-7-
